Pilot Manufacturing Facility
Greenpack Technologies has a full feature Type-3 molded fiber pilot manufacturing line. We offer similar conditions to those found in larger manufacturing operations but with small batch capabilities, circa 20 kg batches, and very fast and flexible changes in operating conditions. We offer a robust stock preparation system that can use many types of fiber, including alternative non-wood fibers.
Research & Development
We are innovators and are continually developing new ideas and processes to help solve complex problems. Research is critical to developing knowledge and technologies to be competitive. We can develop product specific testing protocols onsite with our technical resources and our academic and commercial partners. Our facilities are extremely advantageous when it comes to experimental designs of trials with multiple, directly comparable trial conditions. Examples include fiber evaluations, refining optimization, chemical additives analysis, alternate filler development such as nanocellulose, and optimization of forming, pressing, and drying operating conditions. Post-production coating facilities are also available for testing of coating formulations and application conditions.
